Albert Einstein created a riddle in the late 1800's and claimed that 98% of the world population couldn’t solve it:
In a street there are five houses, painted five different colors.
In each house lives a person of different nationality.
These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.
Einstein’s riddle is: Who owns the fish?

Einstein's Riddle Solution
Step #1
Note statement #8 and #9. so put Norwegian at 1st column and milk at 3rd column. then note statement #14, so put blue house at 2nd column.
Step #2
Note statement #4, the green house is on the left of white house, so it can be at column 3rd or 4th. but then you notice on statement #5 that the owner of the green house drinks coffee, so it can’t be on the 3rd row cos it already drinks milk. so, put green house and coffee at 4th column, and white house on 5th column.
Step #3
By this time, i’m sure you already know statement #1. you can’t put red house on 1st row, cos it’s already Norwegian. so put British man and red house at 3rd column, and the remaining house color, yellow on 1st column.
Step #4
After that, note statement #7 and put dunhill at 1st column, and note statement 11. Since Dunhill on the 1st row, so the one who keeps horses must be on the 2nd column.
Step #5
Now, it’s a little bit tricky. but you’ll notice statement #15, that Blends smoker lives next to the one who drinks water. you’ll see, the last blank spots for drink were on 1st, 2nd and 5th column.
5th column is impossible cos, the neighbour has already drunk coffee. the 2nd row is also impossible cos you’ll notice that the 3rd column has already drunk water, and the 1st column already smokes dunhill (remember, it’s Blends smoker who has the neighbour who drinks water). so the most possible is to put Blends smoker on 2nd column and put water on the 1st column.
Step #5
After that, it’s obvious for statement #12, so put Blue Master and beer on 5th column.
Step #6
So now it’s only tea which is left on drinks row, so note statement #3, and put danish and tea at 2nd column.
Step #7
It’s getting easier now, so you could see directly at statement #13, so put German and Prince cigar on 4th column. that makes Swedish is the last person, so you’ll notice statement #2 and put Swedish and dogs at 5th column.
Step #8
Now, it’s only left pall mall cigars, and you’ll notice statement #10 and put pall mall and birds on 3rd row.
Step #9
That makes the last statement, which is #10, easier, cos you’ll put cats on 1st column, that’s left fish to 4th column.
The answer of the question (who owns the fish) is "german".
